The PWD has a small gene pool and therefore has several genetic health concerns.  Would you be willing to participate in genetic studies of our dogs?  This may include such things as taking cheek swabs, collection of blood samples, x-rays, and necropsy.  Funding may or may not be available to pay for the more expensive of these procedures.  This does not commit you to participation, I would just like to know if you would be open to participating in these studies.
